Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball Music Video (There is nudity in this video)

Okay so Miley has been a huge topic to talk about because she is going "crazy" and I don't think that is the case. Should Miley tone it down a little, and calm down? Yes, but I think that this is the real Miley Cyrus, and she is just letting her true colors show. Honestly she is getting what she wants, and she is being smart because the crazier she acts the more she gets talked about.

I think the video matches the song quite well even though she bares down to nothing, and it is still a great song. The only part where I thought it was a little over the top was when she was licking the sledge hammer, but you know everyone has their thing I guess. I am always saying that there are more important things in the world to care about than Miley Cyrus being naked in a video, and really does it effect you?

Give the song and video a listen, and a view just to see. I will definitely be listening to this song more than once today.

R5 Is On My Brain

I really try not to post the same band or singer the same week and what not, but this is a song that I can't stop listening to. R5's "Here Comes Forever"

It is just a really cute song, and I love these guys, and I love that they are siblings, and the best friend on the drums.

Give it a listen: R5 "Here Comes Forever"

Song of the Day: Cobra Starship "The City is at War"

So this song is a little older, but it is one of my all time favorite songs. This was one of the first songs I ever listened to by Cobra Starship, and then it was all over from there. The video for this song was so insanely good, and funny, I just loved it.

In the video it appears that they are drug dealers, and you see all this white powder every where. What you find out is that they are baking pies, and the video is funny because they are acting all tough but they are baking pies, and throwing them at each other. Another point to make is that they all look like gangsters, killing people by hitting them with pies. So the video is another good one to watch, as well as listening to the song.

Okay there you go some good music to listen to.

Till Next Time!!

Song Of The Day

The song of the day was a bit harder to find today, only because I had not listened to much today. So I decided to put one of my favorite songs on here as the song of the day which is by Panic At The Disco.
The song is called "This is Gospel" and it is a great one to listen to. Fans of this band, and who know their style will like this song.

On top of this being a good song, this video was very well done. There are messages in all songs, even if the message is go out and get drunk, but that is what I love about this band and bands like them. They have songs that are really great to listen to, and they have messages in them that tell stories.

Give this song a listen and see what you think about it.

Till Next Time!

Song of the Day

So I have not done one of these in a while, I have been so into doing my Television Blog everyday and have not really thought of a song to put up.

That is until I heard this song by R5 called "Pass Me By" I absolutely love this song! I have had it stuck in my head for the past two days, and it is very upbeat and catchy. R5 has Ross Lynch in the band, which if you do not know is Austin Moon from the Disney Channel show "Austin & Ally." His brothers and sister are also in the band with him, its a family passion for music.

One of my favorite lines of this song is actually "I was solo, living yolo  till you blew my mind." I just really like it, and it is a great work out song for me.

So I am posting the audio here so you can go and check it out on YouTube. I suggest all of you listen to this song if you like the sound, which is rock like pop.

One Direction

I cannot believe I have not posted anything about One Direction on here yet!

Let me tell you that I am a fan of these very talented guys, and they have amazing songs. I get told all the time that One Direction is a band for young girls and teenage girls, but really there is no age limit to liking something. Is it funny when you see women who are in their 40's and 50's jumping around to a 1D song yes, but I am glad that they have passion for something. I really don't think it matters how old you are if you like something you like it, simple as that.

Honestly how can you not just swoon when you see these adorable guys up there dancing and singing. "Little Things" is the one song since I was crushing on NSYNC that made me cry from sweetness. I am a sucker for boy bands, always have been and I do not see that changing. There is just something about them, and One Direction has them beat with their accents.

Liam, Niall, Zayn, Harry, and Louis are probably the greatest bunch of guys I've seen in a while. Yes they are famous, and labeled as role models but they have said time and time again that isn't what they signed onto. So if parents get upset with them for drinking or doing and saying things they think is inappropriate then they are sorry but that is who they are. I thought that was a very good point because look at Justin Bieber he tried way to hard, and he did not have the talent to go far. He was good in that specific time frame but not for long was he loved. I can see One Direction being one of those boy bands that even when they are done you still bounce around listening to "What Makes You Beautiful."

Thank you for reading as always guys! Keep listening to what makes you smile!

Ross Lynch

So today for a music post I thought I would put up something about Ross Lynch. Those of you who may know him from Disney's Austin & Ally do not need to be told that he has got talent. He is only 17 years old, and he is a very talented singer and dancer.

Just because you may be an adult does not mean you cannot appreciate his music. His songs are pop/rock style songs that are catchy.

Ross is also in a band with his siblings called R5, and they have good sound.

I think all of you should check out this young man and see how good he is, and because of Justin Bieber every young blonde singer/dancer is the next Justin. That is not the case here, Ross is a piece of genuine talent.

Go and check him out, and watch him in Austin & Ally on Disney Channel.

Song of the day! "You and Me" by 45 Spacer

Today's song of the day is "You and Me" by 45 Spacer! I really love this song, and this band. Two of the boys in the band and Jack and Patrick Di Blasio who are the kids of Lana Parilla's fiance Fred Di Blasio.

This song is really cute, and sweet and gets stuck inside my head every time I listen to it. They do not have a lot of songs but the ones that are out there are pretty darn good. Jack Di Blasio has quite a few songs of just him singing as well I will put a link to one of them in here as well as "You and Me"

I suggest listening to them, because they are a good band, and have great voices.

This Week's Top 10

How is everyone? It is time for Top Ten a new weekly think I am going to be doing every Sunday. Technically this is Saturday for me here in Cali but I am going to start doing them on Sunday's.

My #10 pick is "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" by The Smiths its a bit of an older song but still a great song to listen to.

#9 Pick this week is "Seventeen Forever" by Metro Station another older song but still a great one. Reminds me of young love and feeling unstoppable at seventeen.

#8 spot goes to "Take Control" by 3 Pill Morning. If you have not listened to this rock genre band then I suggest you do this is a great song to start at.

#7 Has to be "Skin" by Alexz Johnson from Instant Star great song. Makes me think of people close to me who have betrayed me in some bad ways.

#6 Is "Another One" by Connor Maynard its just a fun catchy song you might like to dance to with friends.

#5 Is always a good song "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls. This song is great and I find myself listening to it constantly beautiful lyrics.

~Halfway there! Music has many different effects on people.~

#4 This pick is fairly new "Jacqueline" by Dylan Jakobsen such a pretty song I highly recommend you listen to it.

#3 Close to the end "Passing Afternoon" by Iron & Wine this song is a slow song and very meaningful. Beautiful lyrics, and sound to this song.

#2 Second place goes to "Everywhere" by Michelle Branch this song came out a while back but its good. Isn't there a person who is just everywhere to you?

#1 Finally my top pick of the week is "Try" by Pink this song just came out and I love the message in the song. You can't just lay around and take the hits you really do have to get up and try.

So there you go people my top 10 for the week this is just whats on my playlists, the people mentioned have more great songs so if you like the songs I've decided to select give their others a listen.

Thanks for reading keep listening to music true to your personality whatever it may be.

Dylan Jakobsen

Dylan Jakobsen is an alternative artist, and his music is really good. He writes his own music, plays guitar, and sings. His new EP just came out on iTunes. It is called Long Way Home and there are 5 songs titled

1.Kids
2.Everybody (I Need You)
3.Jacqueline
4.Brother
5.Falling For You

Personally my favorite song is Kids. His other CD called Tell Anything is great as well, and I've heard him play live he's amazing. So if you're looking for some new music to listen to consider Dylan Jakobsen his lyrics are great, and sweet. A lot of the words to his songs are in fact true feelings we all feel at one point of being in love and breaking up with someone.

Give him a listen sometime.
